Clinical safety.
Talipes Tracker supports clinical teams. It records, calculates and flags. It never tells anyone how to treat a child.
What Talipes Tracker does, and doesn't do.
- Records treatment data entered by clinicians
- Calculates totals, percentages and comparisons
- Flags skin problems of grade 3 and above for clinical review
It doesn't diagnose, recommend treatment or make clinical decisions. Every decision stays with the treating team. It is designed so that it doesn't meet the definition of a medical device, and a formal assessment against MHRA guidance is in preparation.
Managing clinical risk.
We are preparing a clinical risk management file to the NHS standard DCB0129, overseen by a named Clinical Safety Officer. It covers risks such as a skin photo not being seen in time, or out-of-date clinic contact details shown to parents.
Hospitals using Talipes Tracker complete their own assessment under DCB0160. We provide our clinical safety summary to support it.
Reporting a safety concern.
If you think something in Talipes Tracker could affect patient safety, email safety@talipestracker.com. Safety concerns are treated as our top priority during support hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time.
For anything urgent about a child's care, contact the treating hospital directly.
